The only eternal relation is- relation with the
Sath Guru
Dear Member Friends,
We, from the desk of Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Aadhyathmika Peetham wish you all Happy Guru Purnima.
Popularly known as Vyasa Pournima, on this day, all teachers are worshipped. It is a favorite day for all disciples. Many visit planet Earth and leave. Some lead routine life and some leave this place their imprints. Of all great visitors to this mortal planet Guru occupies the first place. Mother welcomes the offspring to this beautiful world and she becomes his/her first Guru. After parents, key role in molding an individual life is played by Guru. God is invisible. Guru is visible, who thwarts darkness in life, fills it with knowledge and lays a path to reach the abode of absolute truth- the primordial light. That’s why it is said:
Gurur Brahma Gurur Vishnu:-Guru devo Maheshvara: |
Guru sakshath Para Brahma Tasmai Sri-SadhGuravae Namah ||
The Guru is Brahma, the Guru is Vishnu, the Guru is Lord
Maheswara,
The Guru is verily the Para-Brahma; Salutations to that Guru.
Life is governed by illusion. Many events flow. Like river life flows till end point. In midst river carries many things; some were dropped in the middle and some travels till end. In the end, river merges into ocean shedding identity. If we overview life as a drama, we can see ourselves as key role players, handling many situations and persons. Happiness and sorrow, success and failure change their faces in this show. Everything changes. At end, if we comprehend, we realize that all events of life are time bound and impermanent. The only eternal relation is- relation with Sath Guru that stays till end. At the time of initiation, a permanent bondage is formed at all levels between Sath Guru and disciple. Guru looks for his sishya and sishya for Gurudev. Sishya prays for protection, knowledge and guidance and Guru blesses the same. Sishya does many mistakes and Guru patiently corrects them and lays a safe path for his/her divine astral travel to ultimate liberation. He accompanies sishya in all his struggles and showers his grace, blessings and divine light. None can pay back Guru as his services are filled with compassion and pure love.
On this divine Guru Pournima, we as members can offer on his lotus feet with respect, the small flowers of sadhana entwined with Maha Mantra fragrance. Words are insufficient for expressing the greatness of Guru. So, in silence and in prayer, I end this news letter. “Gurudev! You are infinite, all pervading and we are unfit to be a dust particle under your feet. Protect us from the evil effects of illusion, time, kundalini power, six vices and bless us with perfection and salvation within this physical”.
Till next News letter…
Spiritually yours,
Renuka Devi Vangara
