ది. 25 డిసెంబర్ 2019 బుధవారం ఉదయం విశాఖ జిల్లా భీమిలి సముద్ర తీరం లో శ్రీ విశ్వ విజ్ఞాన విద్య ఆధ్యాత్మిక పీఠం ఆశ్రమ ప్రాంగణంలో 18 వ వార్షికోత్సవ సభ ఘనంగా నిర్వహించబడినది. ఈ కార్యక్రమం లో పీఠాధిపతి డాక్టర్ ఉమర్ అలీషా స్వామి అనుగ్రహభాషణ చేసినారు. అతిధులుగా గీతం విశ్వవిద్యాలయం చైర్మన్ శ్రీ యమ్.భరత్ గారు, వేదాంత ఇన్స్టిట్యూట్ అధిపతి శ్రీ ఎస్.వి సత్యనారాయణ గారు, విశాఖ సమాచారం తెలుగు దినపత్రిక ఎడిటర్ శ్రీ సూరంపూడి వీరభద్రరావు గారు పాల్గొని ప్రసంగించినారు.
ఉమర్ అలీషా రూరల్ డెవలప్మెంట్ ట్రస్ట్ ద్వారా పీఠాధిపతి డాక్టర్ ఉమర్ అలీషా స్వామి 45 మంది నిరుపేదలకు దుప్పట్లు బియ్యం పంపిణీ చేసినారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమం లో పీఠం సభ్యులు మరియు సభ్యేతరులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
Sabha was conducted on the occasion of 18th Anniversary of Bheemili Branch of Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham on 25th Dec 2019.
Dr.Umar Alisha called upon the people to live peacefully and honestly by maintaining human values for the betterment of the society. Addressing the largely attended devotees in connection with the 18th anniversary of the Peetham branch at Bheemunipatnam here today, he said unrest will prevail in the society if human values are deteriorated. Alisha said spiritual knowledge will help to promote human values and everyone should acquire spiritual knowledge to lead a better life. At present unrest prevailed in the society due to lack of human values and all strive to protect the human values which is very essential in the present days. “It was the responsibility of everyone to respect others particularly parents. Parents should not be neglected. There is no use of going to temples and meeting swamijis without respecting the parents and look after their welfare.” he said. Every individual should think on serving and helping others. Rich people should help poor people to erase difference between rich and poor. All are equal in the society on the lines of service to human being is service to god.
In this connection Dr.Umar Alisha distributed rice and clothes to the poor people as part of peetham’s social service arm “Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust”. Dr. Umar Alisha is a spiritual scholar and Guru and most importantly he is someone who has constantly strives to bring positive transformation in individuals and several unnoticed communities through spirituality and social service.
Guests Sri M.Bharat (Geetham Institutes Chairman, Vishakapatnam), Sri S V Satyanarayana , Vedhantha Institute chairman (Vishakapatnam ), Sri S.Veerabhadra Rao (Vishakapatnam) and several disciples have attended the Sabha.
Convener of the Peetham Dr.Ananda Kumar Pingali said that the bheemili branch of the peetham has been serving the poor people by providing essential commodities like rice clothes and medicines every month. He said the trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to improve rural communities through services in the sectors of health,education, women and child welfare, spiritual studies, and environmental protection. The trust has taken up tree plantation in a big way.
