Indian spiritual culture and the efficacy of human birth

In Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham congregations are held on every Thursday. Those who come to Swami (Master) and attend these congregations acquire the essence of theosophy preached by him. They utilize their time (life) in right manner by doing, meditative repetition of Maha Mantra (great mystic syllable Sounds) of Swami (Master) and practice of the spiritual values in their everyday life and transcend the cycle of births. That is to say, when we practice the spiritual school of thought of Sathguru (True Master) we attain spiritual excellence. When we disregard the preaching of Sathguru we lose the opportunity of attaining the spiritual excellence. Therefore as and when the Swami preaches his philosophy, we should endeavor to grasp its essence.

It is a fact that the monkey army of Sri Ram (the incarnate of the God) could also grasp the essence of his doctrine and attained salvation. During his time, those who had followed his doctrine could also attain the pinnacle of spiritual excellence. In similar context our philosopher (Dr. Umar Alisha, 6th Head of Sri Viswa Viznana Vidya Adhyatmika Peetham) says it is not strange for this Peetahm to lead even the devils into the divinity. In those days, though Sri Ram had the chance to become a ruler of a kingdom and enjoy the luxuries and pleasures, in view of abiding by the words of his father, he left for the forest along with his better half to extirpate the evil. While he was dwelling in the forest demon folks have tested his endurance in many ways. Those demon folks have regarded Sri Ram was an ordinary human being; they could not recognize him as an Avatar and caused many troubles to him. In this way, even the Avatar had to bear all the troubles. In that forest, he had realized the merit of endurance during the difficulties, endeavored to bring attitudinal change in those demons and with his great mystic power he removed the wickedness imbibed in them. Where from he acquired such a great mystic power of abstract meditation? Lord Sri Ram had excelled by following his own Sathguru, sage Vasishta in theology. Similarly, Lord Krishna acquired such a great mystic power of abstract meditation form his Master sage Saandipa .Thus, we should grasp the verity of Yogis and theosophists.

In the family life of householder there are many types of troubles, sufferings and difficulties. Lord Sri Ram had to experience all sorts’ difficulties, while leading family life in the forest in accordance with the principles of a householder. As we compare the troubles he faced with our mundane life, by keeping that Avatar in our view and as we practice his precept at least to some extent, when we habituate the qualities which are similar to those had been shown by that Yogi while he was in troubles in our mundane life, we also experience such a kind of qualitative change within us and attain the caliber of transgressing the difficulties. In this manner we can acquire such an estimable state of perfection.

Thus, to acquire such a sublime Jnana (Supreme Knowledge) and transcend this world, we should study the spiritual books of Avatars. As we peruse those books, we too can acquire such a kind of attitudinal change, through which we attain spiritual inquisitiveness .This inquisitiveness reveals the spiritual path of synthesis (mystical insight into the essence of soul). Thus, it is very much essential for us to study the chronicles of hermits, sages, Avatars .As we study the scriptures like Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Bhagavad-Gita and narrate the aspects to our children as a responsible parents, they too can have the prospect of absorbing the Spiritual Knowledge.

As we learn what Ramayana is, what Mahabharata is and able to teach whatever we know to other nationals, when we visit foreign countries, those foreigners too can have the prospect of understanding our culture. Our Indian culture is indeed such a highly developed state of perfection. In our Indian culture leading of family life as a householder is righteousness (Dharma).By following such a Dharma of householder, leading his life like a very ordinary man, the incarnate Lord Sri Ram conferred the Sublime Spiritual Knowledge on his contemporaneous mankind and punished the evil and protected the good. Thus we should try to invest some time to read the chronicles (Ramayana) of such a great embodiment of divinity Sri Ram and the same culture (moral excellence) may also be inculcated into the young generation so that they too can acquire Spiritual Knowledge and attain the ultimate beatitude. Thus, the Indian spiritual culture is of high moral and intellectual value.

The Supreme Spiritual Knowledge establishes endurance (tolerance).By means of this tolerance or patience man can stabilize his six inner-enemies. In this way in the rough course of our mundane life, we and our children should endeavor to study the philosophical systems preached by Avatars, hermits and sages and also the outstanding aspects of their life to learn Spiritual Knowledge and attain salvation, so that our time (birth) can be utilized in the right way. Consequently, our birth as a human being would attain its efficacy. Therefore, every one should endeavor to derive the efficacy of such an exalted human birth.
